Rachel Schwartz / Secretary Rachel Schwartz worked for a small software company in Boston as office manager for five years before moving to Heartbeet Lifesharing in 2006. She is the current householder for White Pine House and full time administrator. Rachel was born and raised in Camphill Village Kimberton Hills in Pennsylvania and attended the Kimberton Waldorf School. She received a B.A. in Religious Studies from Guilford College and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Curry College in Massachusetts. As a student at Guilford College she helped found a student-run conflict resolution and mediation resource center, and later became an Americorps*Vista Volunteer with the Good Shepherd Mediation Program in Philadelphia. Growing up in Camphill provided the foundation for Rachel’s interest in community living, and working with individuals with special needs.
