Susan Shaffer / DirectorAn Associate Broker for Julia B. Fee Sothebys International Realty in Rye, New York, Susan Shaffer is a graduate of Syracuse University where she studied finance and marketing.
For the last 10 years, she has been actively involved with the Southeast Consortium, which provides leisure and recreational programs for children and adults with special needs in lower Westchester County, New York.
Susan has three children. Her son, Jared, joined Heartbeet in April 2009. She has advocated for him since he was diagnosed with developmental delays at 18 months old. She worked hard to ensure that Jared received all the therapies and services that he needed and to which he was entitled. Her mission has been to create the conditions under which Jared could reach his maximum potential.
Susan brings her knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to the board of Heartbeet and provides a voice for the families that are a part of the community.
